Cardio Doesn't Have To Be Boring

Mix it up! Just walking or running on the treadmill literally bores me. With all this cold weather in NYC I can't run outdoors, so my indoor cardio has to be fun. I'll try to keep posting some workouts for my readers!

 

 

  • 5 min 15.0 Walk higher incline warm up

  • 3 min 12.0 2-weights in hand no heavier than 10lbs (farmers carry- don't let your arms swing maintain control walking with weights in hand. I put them to the side of the treadmill for easy access. 

  • 2 min 10.0 walk

  • 30 second sprints

  • 2 min walk 8.0

  • 30 second sprint increased speed

  • 2 min walk 5.0

  • 30 second sprint increased speed

  • 2 min walk 3.0

  • 1 min Sideways 

  • 1 min Sideways 

  • 2 min walk 2.0

  • 30 second sprint it all out 

  • Cool off by walking for another 5
