Your body has a pH level with two opposite ends of the spectrum being too acidic or too alkaline... or just right. People drink Alkaline water to re-balance their body's pH level. Normal drinking water has a pH level of 7, where as Alkaline has a level of 8 or 9. There are a ton of mixed studies about the benefits of drinking Alkaline water and if it really does anything or if it's actually necessary.
The Journal of International Society of Sports Nutrition did a study on 100 people, with the ultimate result being that Alkaline, or a higher pH water improved the blood flow, (viscosity), through the vessels which increased the delivery of Oxygen throughout the body.
Frankly, it's good to know your body's pH, in general, and keep in mind, different parts of you body have different levels. However, if you know you body's pH, you can take it from there and if it's out of wack, I highly suggest finding the underlying cause before you start drinking anything new. There is such thing as too Alkaline just there is too acidic so keep that in mind.
Despite the conflict and mixed reviews of benefits, the higher the pH in water, the possibilities of improving one's health are possible (stated by Health Line):
anti-aging properties (via liquid antioxidants that absorb more quickly into the human body)
immune system support
hydration, skin health, and other detoxifying properties
detox the body
For some good pH waters, I recommend Essential.Remember, this stuff is not one hundred percent proven yet, but from personal experience as well as a few other opinions, we felt overall better, more energetic and our skin clearer. There is definitely something to pH in water, because my skin and body experience different reactions in the small, mountainous town where my parents live with extremely clean water versus when I am in Manhattan.

Fill one jar with water. Cut the lemon and add it to the water, and later add the salt. Close the jar and leave it on room temperature for 12 hours.
Usage: It is best to drink 3 glasses on an empty stomach early in the morning. The body will love and appreciate this boost early in the morning.
