4 Kick Ass Exercises...For Your Ass

Your booty isn’t just there to look good, it powers most of your movements believe it or not. There is a lot of talk about the core being the powerhouse of your body but the glutes are equally as important. Strong glutes can make going up the stairs that much easier, help us avoid lower back compensation during lower-body exercises or even simple movements like bending over to pick something up. 

 

Now when you think of your fitness goals, be sure to include your glutes. Glutes are made up of three different muscles; the gluteus maximus, medius and minimus. Each of these are worked through different angles to hit each muscle group. If you exercise using multidimensional planes of motion, you will develop this muscle group properly as well as any other. 

No gym necessary!

Try 2-4 rounds of this circuit, 30 seconds 

 

  1. Fire hydrant

  2. Frog Bridges

  3. Clamshells

  4. Birddog
